This website uses localStorage to remember consent preferences. Analytics and advertising platforms are not activated by default. Third-party fonts, icons and map embeds may apply their own technologies when loaded online.
Overview
This Cookie Policy explains how AussieCasinoStays uses cookies and similar browser technologies. It should be read together with the Privacy Policy. The purpose is to give visitors a clear explanation of the controls shown in the cookie banner and the practical effect of each choice.
AussieCasinoStays is an independent hotel discovery website. It does not create casino accounts, process gambling transactions or accept payments through the website. The preference centre gives visitors control over optional browser technologies, which are not enabled by default.
What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text record that a website can ask a browser to store. Cookies may be used for a single browsing session or may remain for a defined period. They can support essential functions, remember preferences, measure website performance or contribute to advertising and campaign reporting.
Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, pixels, tags, software development kits and device identifiers. The current AussieCasinoStays preference tool uses localStorage rather than a traditional HTTP cookie. The term “cookies” is used throughout the interface as a familiar umbrella description for these technologies.
First-party storage is created for the website being visited. Third-party storage may be created by another organisation whose map, video, font, icon, analytics or social resource is included on a page.
How this website uses browser storage
On a first visit, the cookie banner offers three actions: Accept All, Reject Optional and Cookie Settings. Cookie Settings presents four categories. Necessary storage is always enabled because it remembers the consent choice and supports the operation of the preference interface. Analytics, preference and marketing categories can be switched on or off.
When the visitor saves a choice, JavaScript records the selected values and a timestamp. The banner then closes and should not appear again unless the stored record is cleared. The choice can be revisited using the button on this page or by clearing site data in the browser.
Necessary cookies and storage
Necessary technologies support functions that a visitor explicitly requests or that are required for a secure and usable website. On this website, necessary localStorage remembers whether a privacy choice has been saved. Without that record, the banner would appear again on later visits.
The necessary category cannot be disabled inside the settings modal. Visitors can still remove the stored record through browser controls. Doing so resets the preference tool, meaning the banner will be shown again the next time the site loads.
Necessary storage should not be used to create a marketing profile or measure advertising performance. Necessary technologies may also support security, load balancing, fraud prevention or accessibility. Any additional technologies will be documented in this policy.
Analytics cookies
Analytics technologies can help a website understand which pages are visited, how long sessions last, which devices are used and where navigation difficulties occur. Properly configured analytics can support usability, performance and content decisions.
AussieCasinoStays does not currently connect Google Analytics or another analytics platform. Turning on the Analytics switch records the visitor’s preference only; it does not start measurement. If analytics is added later, the policy should identify the provider, information collected, retention period, transfer arrangements and available opt-out controls before the service is activated.
Preference cookies
Preference technologies remember choices that change how a website looks or behaves. Examples might include language, region, accessibility settings, saved hotel interests or display preferences.
The website includes this category in the consent interface but does not create a separate preference profile beyond the cookie preference record itself. Any preference feature should store only information that is useful to the visitor, avoid sensitive inferences and provide a straightforward way to reset the choice.
Marketing cookies
Marketing technologies can be used to measure campaigns, limit repeated advertising, understand conversions or tailor advertising on another service. These uses can involve tracking across websites or combining information from several sources.
No marketing or advertising platform is currently connected to the website. Turning on the Marketing switch records only the preference. It does not create a gambling promotion profile, share an email address or activate personalised advertising. If marketing technologies are introduced, they must require a clear optional choice and must not use aggressive gambling messages, income claims or targeting designed to exploit vulnerable people.
Storage used by this website
| Name | Type | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
aussieCasinoStaysCookiePreferences |
First-party localStorage | Stores necessary status, analytics, preference and marketing choices, plus the saved date. | Until the visitor changes or clears browser storage. |
The value is saved as a small JSON record in the browser. It does not contain a name, email address, telephone number, payment information or hotel booking details.
Third-party resources
When the website is opened online, the browser may request resources from Google Fonts, Font Awesome and Google Maps. Those providers may process technical information and may use their own cookies or similar technologies according to their policies. Social media links also take visitors to independent platforms that may recognise an existing account or apply tracking on their own pages.
Blocking third-party content may affect the appearance of fonts, icons or maps but should not prevent access to the main written information. Because third-party practices can change, visitors should review the relevant provider’s current privacy and cookie information.
Manage your preferences
Use the button below to reopen the AussieCasinoStays settings modal. Saving new choices replaces the previous localStorage record. Reject Optional switches analytics, preferences and marketing off. Accept All switches all displayed categories on.
These controls apply only to the AussieCasinoStays preference record. They cannot remove cookies already created by an independent third-party website or change privacy settings in another service.
Browser and device controls
Most browsers allow visitors to inspect, block or delete cookies and site data. Controls are commonly found under Privacy, Security, Cookies, Site Data or Storage. Private browsing modes may remove some data when the session closes. Browser extensions and device settings may provide additional controls.
Deleting all site data can sign a visitor out of unrelated services and remove saved preferences, so review the browser’s explanation before confirming. Blocking every technology may also prevent maps, embedded content, consent memory or accessibility preferences from working as intended.
Changes to this Cookie Policy
This page should be updated when a new cookie, analytics service, embedded platform or advertising technology is introduced. Material changes should identify what has changed and should prompt visitors for a fresh choice where the previous consent no longer covers the new use.
